To speak of Festivities in Seville is to speak of two in particular, Easter Week and the April Spring Fair. We mustn't forget other important ones such as the Rocio which is celebrated by the Sevillians and the rest of Andalusia with great passion and anticipation. The April Fair and Easter week are two festivities that are considered very interesting nationally as well as worldwide to tourists.
Seville also has other important dates on it's festivity calendar that are written in stone such as the 3 kings day parade (epiphany) which is the funnest day for the little ones, as well as other important dates like El Rocio and Corpus Cristi in May.
Other events that are also a cause to celebrate are the derbis between Betis and Seville, the two soccer teams from Seville. These games divide the city in two depending on who they're routing for, but no matter who wins the party afterwards is a sure thing. |
