The Giralda along with the Torre del Oro one of the most emblamatic buildings in the city as well as one of the most representative of Seville. It is the best kept jewel from the gothic and Baroque periods that make up this beautiful monument.

When the Giralda was built, all of it´s 97.5 meters it was the tallest in the world. Today it is the most important in Seville. It was built by the muslims in the 12th century with some Roman remains. Throughout the centuries it has been restored. It forms part of the World Heritage by UNESCO since 1987.
